In 1999, Jim Marcucilli decided he wanted to open a car repair shop in his hometown of Sandy Hook, CT. At the time, he owned a two-bay shop in Georgetown, more than half an hour away. He found out the garage Berkshire Motors now occupies was for sale, bought it, and started working as a technician along with one other tech and a service advisor.
Since then, Jim’s hired a shop foreman and four more technicians, allowing him to move from the shop to his office. While he’s not in the garage as much as he used to be, Jim loves to interact with his customers and come up with solutions and options for their repair needs. Everyone at Berkshire Motors understands that a car fixed right the first time adds value to our customers, us, as individuals, and Berkshire Motors as a whole.
Berkshire Motors also has a body shop called 'North Wilton Auto Collision Center'.
